I still cannot believe this comic has been going on for 5+ years...

Random q of the day: how did you find this comic and thought to stick around for it? Feel free to say it in the comments. Sorry it's not a SPECTACULAR PIC OF EPICNESS for the anniversary fffff

FYI, I REALLY hope this will be my last anniversary pic for this series

I remember finding it in the recommend section, back when I was actively looking around for Nuzlocke comics.

While I'm not too active on SJ anymore, I have this comic on an RSS feed. Looking forward to the next comic!

I saw it when it updated one day and really liked it, so much so I went back and read your Diamond Nuzlocke too, then recommended both to a friend.

I was browsing Bulbapedia one day and saw the page on Nuzlockes. It sounded interesting, so I used Bing to find some comics and found yours

@Kynim:
I searched up nuzlockes on sj, and saw that this one had a hell of a lot of fans. I read your diamond run, liked it, and started reading this one, loving it.

I found it because of the original Nuzlocke comic.
I first found Nuzlockes through word of mouth and started watching them thanks to ProJared's FireRed run.
I got curious where it all started, found the very original website, which also has a number of recommended nuzlocke comics and your Diamond/Pearl comic series was actually virtually the most recommended by everyone so I gave that a shot and loved it.
From there I heard you had a sequel and I looked for it, found it, and here I am and I must say you are one of my favorite Nuzlocke runs(both)for how great the art is, your story telling, getting me invested, etc.
I'd say you likely take the #2 and 3 spots(believe it or not my #1 would be PeanutButter Gamer's just because he was 100% unfamiliar with Pokémon and it resulted in a nonstop tense atmosphere, most notably his battle with the Elite 4/Champion being some of the best matches I've ever seen for enjoyability)

A friend of mine told me to read Nuzlocke Comics, the guy who (I think) started all Nuzlocke comics. One day the author made a post about your comics, and since then I was hooked.

@Sam CE: The inventor writes Pokémon : Hard Mode

I actually found it on DA first, then on a whim searched for it here, and the rest is history!

I have no idea. All I remember is that I stumbled upon it, read it all in one sitting, and waited hungrily for more.

think i originally ran into this through the nuzlocke forums in some manner. Cant remember why i stuck around originally, long time ago. Probably something to do with quality, story and art. Im not a fan of the more meme stories, and this had some nice meat to it. Thanks for making this and sticking with it.

Wow, Rex really is rocking that Usopp long nose.

I was just googling around for an escape from schoolwork, and there it was, This is the first page that was updated when I followed it so I am happy

Found nuzlockes in my Youtube recommended about a year ago, and searched for comics on it. Your Diamond nuzlocke was the one that stuck out and interested me. I've been reading since then.

Posted at May 7th, 2016, 7:28 pm

@Kynim: I like nuzlocke and your art is amazing!!!! I so wish I could do what you do. I really hope you keep it up until the end.

Posted at May 7th, 2016, 9:21 pm

Found the diamond run last year first. After finishing that I heard about this and have been hooked ever since.

Tv Tropes man

I found it through looking up nuzlocke on tv tropes. This story was one of a few that I check out from there and was also the only one I stuck for because it wasn't just there for humor. I can't remember exactly when I came around for, but it was after the incident with Jordan at least. I love this story a lot and hope you continue writing

CONGRATS GURL

@Kynim: Hi, I LOVE YOUR POKEMON STORY! I cannot believe this started when I was nine years old! I'm 14 now, and I started reading the nuzlock about two years ago. Anyway, please keep writing and drawing and finally STAY DETERMINED! (If you know where that's from, which you probably do, NYEH!) -G

I was browsing Youtube when I found the third video for this run. I really liked it, and soon found out about the comic it was made for. I became a regular, checking every month or so for new content. This comic series is great, and I posted this late.

Edit: this pic is so epic my eyes nearly disintegrated with sheer awesome.

Can't remember well

I don't remember exactly how I found this... I think I had just been looking into new Nuzlocke comics to read, and I came across you. I read your first one and thught it was ridiculous and hilarious. Then I found this. MoU is so different from others, it's mature, so much thought goes in, art is good, characters and fleshed-out... I mean, I know I'm not the longest-running fan or anything, but seriously, thanks. So, so much.

Thank you!

I'm a more recent reader, but I always try to find a good Nuzlocke comic to play alongside. I've gone through each adventure with Nina and the team and it was really cool! I just beat the E4, and lost a lot of my team, but up until then, I was at the same pace. I'm struggling to find a comic as good as this, for Platinum. But I may use your Diamond comic. Thank you for making one of the most high quality and memorable Nuzlocke comics there has ever been. I look forward to the rest of this story, and anything else to come.

Holy balls I missed it.
I've been reading up on Its a hard life, so I've been invested in that.
Also, I was just randomly looking for nuzlocke comments after Ruby Hard Mode and Petty's nuzlocke.
This one may be my favorite.

Jwittz on YouTube made a video about Nuzlocke challenges and one of the recommended online comics was yours, so I checked it out. It was so good I've been coming back for 3 years!

Posted at May 20th, 2016, 10:09 pm

I pretty much just searched the web for pokemon comics. I read it all at once and have read it multiple times since.

To answer your question

This comic was recommended to me and a lot of other people by ProJared, after his own Nuzlocke play-through. He also recommended a few other comics, but this was the one that caught my eye. It's been an interesting ride through the years, and I've quite enjoyed it. Always reminds me of how much I loved gen V, and of my own pokemon white nuzlocke. It will be sad to see it go, but I'm eager to finally see the conclusion. I wish you luck in all of your endeavors. Do what makes you happy, and have fun!
