...6 long years and finally, the comic comes to a close.

It has been a challenging but rewarding experience to draw my ingame events and expand on the BW lore that I love.

Yes, there are still many unanswered plot-related questions even at the end of this. But if you were expecting any sort of BW2 nuzlocke comic sequel, I am here to disappoint you greatly. After this, there will be no more nuzlocke comics. I still enjoy playing them, but drawing a long-form comic like this again will never happen again. However, for those who enjoyed the Myths of Unova universe I created...there is a small project I may partake in after I take a break from comics in general...further details on that will be revealed eventually.

Or not. Life is capricious and I am busy after all.

With that...Happy Holidays! :]

Thanks for the Ride

Thank you for all the effort you put into this excellent piece of literature. It was a fantastic journey from start to finish. I hope your other pursuits serve you well

Thank you

Long time reader, first time commenter. Felt like I should do it for once. Thank you for one of the best online comics I've ever read. It's a wonderful christmas gift to get today, even if it means no more comics as well of course. But all good things have an ending, bittersweet or not.

So, thanks again, and Merry Christmas!

It's been great.

*sobs quietly*

This is quite possibly the single most well-written, nicely drawn, and emotionally moving Nuzlocke comic I've ever read. The ending was bittersweet, and I think the comic in its entirety has easily made me cry enough tears to fill up my entire (embarrassingly expansive) collection of Sonic the Hedgehog-themed mugs. And I love it. Thank you so much for writing Myths of Unova. It's been a wild ride, one filled with twists and turns and lots of tears. But it's a ride that I'm so glad to have gone on.

Thanks for creating this. Merry December 25th. And until we hear from you next, have a good one.

It's been a great 6 years.

Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this comic. I know it was tough for you in some stages because of school and life, but you kept up anyways. Again, thank you and here's hoping for a new nuzlocke at some point in the future?

This has been the best nuzlocke series period

This and the previous one together make for an expansive world, well drawn, deeply expressive nuzlocke adventure. In fact these comics are the reason I've done nuzlocke adventures of all the games, recorded them so I can one day perhaps make comics of them and am currently doing yet another one(classic Silver).
Hope you see great success with whatever you pursue in the future and Merry Christmas! This is a fantastic present to wake up to. :)

I totally understand this being the last nuzlocke comic --- I've always been impressed that this comic continued on for six years! I hope to have that kind of focus in my own work. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, even though my heart was broken several times. I might just need to bingeread it again. A very Merry Christmas, Kynim !

Posted at December 25th, 2017, 9:37 pm

I jumped in partway through, but it was always a joy finding an update. I know it was a long six years, but thank you so much for sticking with this until you finished it. I know that life often had more pressing things, but you pushed forward with this anyway. So, as a reader, thank you for sharing such a wonderful project with us, and I wish you the best of wherever life takes you. :)

Thank you again, best of luck, and Merry Christmas. :)

It's amazing that you got through this journey, and I'm glad I was able to read along. I am a bit disappointed that the epilogue didn't show the Pokemon since they were so vital to Nina, but overall everything is tied up nicely.

Thank you again for creating this wonderful comic! :D

One Great Ride

This was one amazing ride even though I was not there in the beginning I could feel as though I was a part of the story. I got to see all of the great characters and got to see each personality shine through the darkest of days. Sure there was struggles, Heartbreak, and Loss; but those who made it through the adventure will carry on for those who made the ultimate sacrifice on this journey. And all I can say is, Thank you Kynim for sharing this story and adventure to all of us and thank you to those of us out there who were willing to accept the people who came late to the story and tried their best to assist in anyway, Thank you everyone who was apart of this "Grand Adventure".

And So It Ends

Made an account purely to comment. This has been an amazing comic that I have followed for over 3 years. Thanks for putting so much love and effort into this, Kynim. I hope school goes well. Bye!

Thanks for the ride

So it finally ends feels like only yesterday when I found this comic and it's predecessor about 2-3 years ago after being curious about more Nuzlocke comics. Loved it from the beginning and definitely sad there won't be more, but you deserve a break after all this work for 6 YEARS. Good Luck Ky Nim for everything

Posted at December 28th, 2017, 6:46 am

I thank you

It’s been a good run. I really enjoyed that comic, and 6 years of my life was satisfying, because of this. It brings emotions to my soul, both good and bad. But most of all, you had courage to make this comic, dedication to it, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I think hiatus is needed for you. But, from the fan to the creator, thank you so much for these 6 years of greatness in a form of a hard-worked comic

You have provided quite an expansive world, and your love for the project clearly shines through. Have a Happy New Year, and good luck in your future endeavors.

Psst: you have a typo. Right before you go into Cheren's internship, you have "there HAS also been other changes".

Posted at December 30th, 2017, 7:09 pm

Heh... guess I'm bit'a late, but hey, don't really care.

Welp, lots of feelings here. Lots of deaths, lots of anger, lots of sadness, et cetera.
Quite a mix of feelings.
Overall, this is quite nice, it's got new stuff, and it just doesn't blindly follow the original game's plot. So it's quite creative.
If I had to choose which was my favorite ever death, I'd say Ghetsis.
He took a lot of things.
Damn him to hell.

Wow.

This is my first time hanging around with a comic for a long time and seeing it finished. It kind of makes me feel sad though, makes me feel kind of empty inside, like that moment when you finish something, like a cartoon, game, or comics. This was a fun comic to read though, and it was a emotional rollercoaster if I do say so myself.

This has been an adventure.

For the people just joining in last-second to the long-timers that've endured pancakings, to the author kimchi-ing people in the face...

thank every single one of you,
for this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

I loved this webcomic

Posted at January 1st, 2018, 8:18 pm

I almost can't believe it's really over.

It's funny, really, how much of a constant presence fics and webcomics like yours have been in my 16 years. It seems a sudden trend for long-running stories to abruptly show their back covers; however, this is far from bad. It leaves the opportunity to move on to bigger and better things. I'll hold a special place in my heart and my bookmarks bar for you, Kynim, and Nina (sorry if that's a little weird, but it's true). I think I'll start a special folder, "Finished, but Not Forgotten." I wish you good fortune in all your endeavors, Ky-Nim! May our digital paths cross once again!

;W;

This has been a wonderfull and touching comic and I am glad that I decided to read it even though at the ending (and as I wright this comment) I am crying my eyes out
May the deceased pokemon Rest In Peace

Posted at January 8th, 2018, 9:13 pm

Well dang!

Been following this comic for years. I decided to make an account so I could just say: what a ride! Thank you for making such a great webcomic with great characters! I haven't read a Nuzlocke that had this much emotion in it. I was wondering, did you release all of your dead Pokemon? Or did you just put them in an unused box? Just because I always liked transferring my old Pokemon to the newer games. Thank you so much again for a wonderful time!! <3

I started to read around the time the 7th gym badge rolled around, and I’ve loved every part of it. (Not ashamed to say some of your comics helped motivate me to continue writing my own stories) Whatever you do in your future, I’ll always be grateful that I got to ride this little emotional rollercoaster. Cheers!

'Till we meet again!

It's been a long time since I saved this comic to my bookmarks. I've checked back periodically for years, always excited to see the next page. I've changed a lot since then, as I expect we all have. Thanks for sticking with us, my friend. Wherever life leads us, I'm sure it will be interesting! Live well, Kynim. And have fun!

Thank you

Oh my god, I'm so crying my eyes out. I don't know if I have cried as much to about anything I have read or seen as I have to this story. This has been amazing, the art, the emotions, the story. I'm so happy to have encountered this nuzlocke story.

What's more, I'm really glad to see a Pokemon-story with some seriousness in it. The lore you have implemented works great and well, it's not as sunshine and flowers as we see in the games and in anime but rather with Nuzlocky darkness in it.

Truly, thank you so much for these years.
